Extra special Autumn and Winter breaks
17 Hallgarth is open all year to welcome guests with the exception of January and February when we close for routine maintenance, safely testing and improvements. We offer short breaks at selected times of the year as well as longer stays at all times. We do operate a three night minimum stay policy. All gas and electricity is included within our rental price and guests have control of the central heating to make sure that the cottage is cosy even when the temperature outside drops. Extra bedding, throws and back up heating are always available.
The cottage has full gas central heating which has recently been upgraded. Pickering has lots of cosy pubs and cafes which are open during the Winter months, there is free parking in Whitby (Westcliff) after October half term until February and the North York Moors are always beautiful. The NYMR operates “Santa special” trains at weekends during December and Castle Howard always have beautiful decorations and special events during winter and around Christmas. There are also many Christmas markets and fairs, large and small in the area.
